Well, the first part of the day was good. Windy but bright and dry.
Second part of the day gale force winds and rain.
Bank holiday weekend here and clock changing.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
as been raining here nonstop since yesterday evening and blowing a gale.
Everywhere is muddy and miserable.
More of the same to continue, only consolation being that it isn't cold.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
OMG!! Gale force winds, dark skies and torential rain
Ummm .. I seem to remember writing exactly the same comment the last time I posted here!! Just to add though, that it hasn't stopped raining here since October. Everywhere is flooded. My poor garden is a disaster area and the fields are pure mud pools. Another typical winter then.
A good beginning is half the work. Praise the young and they will make progress.
Glad to report the weather here today was sunny, bright and warm.
Went for a walk at lunch time and it was a joy to be outdoors.
We have had a lot of rain and stormy weather here and know we have more to come but today was lovely.

Yesterday was lovely between the showers, that thankfully weren't too heavy. The weather changed again yesterday evening, and it is now dark, wet and very wild, but not cold.
A good beginning is half the work. Praise the young and they will make progress.
