Does anyone know how to get a stainless steel gas cooker clean?
I'm not obsessive, just want it to look like it gets a cleaning - no matter what I do, the cooker, the rings and black iron things surrounding them, and the stainless steel backing always look dirty.
The cooker is only a year old and I've followed the makers' recommendations from the beginning (they advise warm soapy water and a soft cloth) but with only a grubby looking cooker to show for it.
All ideas welcome.

and i even sprayed it on my BBQ last year, after it had been used twice and left all winter, sprayed it on, left for a couple of hours, then rinsed off with a hot hose pipe, it looked brand new, ....... i had already tried with a scourer.
along with that aweful bloke who advertises it.
) and it was excellent. You just paint it on and leave it for a while then wash it off (I think!). It even removed all the baked-on black stuff from the oven shelves too - anyway, it's worth a try.
