We have a tumbler (given to us) Makes compost very fast, about 6 weeks. So yes it can be hard to turn when full, and when you are short like me, but it makes he stuff so quickly its not an issue really. Get one second hand really, dont buy one. We have a darlek as the first one, then move stuff from that into the tumbler to speed things up!

Ive also used a compost ball, rolls around the ground, at school, with primary kids. Same issue really. When full you cant roll it easily, even with 2 adults and several 5 year olds!!

I'll customise mine to look like this eventually:

I would pay good money for a customised dalek ... you could put it on wheels and move it round the plot to scare people.

So long and thanks for all the fish.........

                  I have a blog http://areafortyone.blogspot.co.uk

I'd rather be a comma than a full stop.

I know someone who's built his own lifesize one, it lives in his kitchen, moves and talks and everything. He's a little mad though....
