When can I use fresh compost?

Hi, sorry if the answer to this is somewhere, but I haven't got time to surf today!!
I'm making my own compost using "daleks". There is compost ready in one, can it go straight into use or does it have to mature or age before use?? I want to mulch with it mainly.

No, you can use it straightaway.

It's manure you need to leave until well rotted.

Don't use all of it keep a small amount to start of the next batch.
