  • Uncooked rice, comfortable?

So I er managed to drop my mobile done the loo! Quickly stuck it in rice in vain bid to salvage it. Can I put the uncooked brown rice in the compost? Seems s shame to waste it....

Yes. Once the damp of the compost softens the grains it will soon disappear.
    Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
    Endless wonder.

Did that with my personal radio! Still worked but display gone.

Should be ok but would have reservations if you're using cistern or rim blocks.

I managed to save mine (battery and sim out) in a tub of rice on a radiator. It took 2 days to start working again, but all ok eventually.
I put my white rice in the compost bin thinking that it's been processed enough that it wouldn't grow...
but it's not been spread yet, so can't confirm.

Depends what else was in the loo at the same time...

Water, no probs. Pee, no probs. Anything else, probably better not.

I dropped a whole bag of rice on the floor a couple of weeks ago. I've cooked that up in water from my vegetables and when cool fed to the chickens. cat hair and dog hair and all.
