      Beautiful call Jackarmy, thank you for that. I, too, am rubbish at bird songs, I can see I'm going to have to go through Dogsbody's link.
      I've noticed that I don't hear as many Cuckoos as I used to Burnie But I did see a Swallow yesterday. I know one doesn't make a Summer but I am expecting his mates to follow soon

          Went looking for Swallows, none found yet, but there were Sand Martins and this flew by in the distance

            Got my first chiffchaff 2 weeks ago, sadly we were at Mrs G's uncle's funeral, heard it in the cemetery grounds.

            Not seen any swallows or heard any cuckoo's yet. In fact I didn't hear a cuckoo at all last year. I feel a trip to Minsmere coming on.
            Are y'oroight booy?
