That Avon stuff has citronella oil in it, always good as an insect repellent.

Citronella oil is extracted from lemongrass. So, grow lemongrass, scrunch up a few leaves, and rub your skin with it, should have pretty much the same effect.

I have TWO pots of lemongrass, one from seed, one from a bit of supermarket lemongrass. I feel smug now.

If you don't like Marmite Jon, buy these, cheap as chips. I use them everytime I go abroad.

I have never been bitten by mozzies till now. Since moving to Lincoln I am sure to get bitten if any part of me is exposed at dusk.
I have been to India, Egypt Europe etc never been bitten. Poor OH who will be right next to me got bitten to death.
What is it about the Lincolnshire mozzies?

This is a fairly new product but I find it works well and on the plus side you don't smell like a lady of the nights handbag

Quick update for anyone still interested: I've just bought 3 x 150 ml bottles at 1.99 each off the Avon website. Usual price apparently 5.00 pounds. Admittedly 3.50 delivery in addition, but anyone with an Avon rep nearby can save themselves that, as I understand it.

Is this how do they know what a lady of the nights handbag smells like
Or how do they know that you don't smell like one?
