I want to encourage hedgehogs!

I love hedgehogs but I daresn't encourage them in to the garden with my dogs

I do quite fancy a bee hotel, and after seeing this online a few days ago I think everyone needs to be jumping on the bandwagon.

Bees are directly responsible for the production of 70% of fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts that we consume on a daily basis.

One of my plans this weekend is to make several bee hotels :-)

Last time I saw a hedgehog at night I ran after it thinking it was an escaped neighbours guinea pig. Unfortunately I've not seen one since, but would LOVE a resident in my garden. I fear we are a bit too well looked after though compared to some of the neighbours, so aren't a favourite spot of theirs.

We regularly see ( or hear) the hedgehog I often put out tinned dog food for him if I hear him about. Our first sighting of one this year was a couple of weeks ago...we leave lots of messy corners about
