I went down to the lotty this morning to be greeted by two Muntjacs nibbling away at my Chard. They're usually quite jumpy animals, but seemed unfazed by the car, so I just sat there watching for awhile - I'm not that fussed about Chard anyway and so was happy to leave them munching away. It was a treat to see such beautiful animals up close - I normally just see their back end as they jump over the fence.

How lovely. They're beautiful little things.Pain is still pain, suffering is still suffering, regardless of whoever, or whatever, is the victim.
Everything is worthy of kindness.

I grew it once and even my OH, who can be relied upon to eat just about everything presented to him, refused after about the 3rd or 4th meal. Wish we did like it as it grows really well here. I wonder if I picked the leaves too big. Could I try it again without anyone noticing??Originally posted by Scarlet View PostI really like it
