I didn't know, but thanks for highlighting it.
Be kind to insects this week - and every week!Pain is still pain, suffering is still suffering, regardless of whoever, or whatever, is the victim.
Everything is worthy of kindness.

VC none of us are any older than 9. Simply keep adding the numbers in your age together until you get a single digit number. Currently I am 2 soon to be 3! (You can have great fun with birthday cards - sending very appropriate age related ones!!).Originally posted by veggiechicken View PostThanks Nicos. Stunning photos.
Lots of events going on near me but mostly for ages 1-4. Even I'm not that young

Aww Thanks dogsbody
That makes me 4 and I can go to all those fun events. It would have been so disappointing if I'd been too old (5-9)
As you were..................

Might be a good idea if we all put aside a bit of time this week and actually go and look at the variety of insects in our garden /plot? ( apart from the greenfly/whitefly/sawfly/cherry aphid, caterpillars, lily beetle etc etc
) and perhaps try to id them??
I have to say that I'd like to be able to identify more of the 'goodies' in the garden!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

If you just take some time out to sit and stare at a patch of grass, a clump of weeds or some flowers or a shrubs there's always an insect of some sort going about its business. I love watching them, goodies or baddies, they all have a role to play in the great chain of life. They may be small but we'd be lost without them.Originally posted by Nicos View PostMight be a good idea if we all put aside a bit of time this week and actually go and look at the variety of insects in our garden /plot?
