Fledglings anyone?

Hi,
Have just spotted a male blackbird feeding one of its little ones in our garden.
Has anyone else spotted any fledglings yet?
Friendly robin and blue tits seem very busy to at the moment so could have some more little ones flying about soon.

Magpies have robbed our garden nests but blue tits are flying in and out of the shed with beaks full of insects

I think many are still nesting here, as they are systematically destroying the liners in my wall troughs for bedding. I did try switching the coir liners they initially ravaged for the felt ones, but it appears they can be ripped apart for nesting materials too

I've got two confirmed pairs of nuthatches. Result! Nuthatches, and goldfinches, are my favourite garden birds.
We've also got a robin who is finger tame At the same time every morning and evening, he can be found in the hedge by the back door, waiting for one of us to come out with a handful of mealworms. Then he flies over, sits on my palm, eats a few, then gathers up 8 or 9 and flies off, always in the same direction, so there is a nest somewhere nearby. We had a tame robin last year too. It's probably the same bird; nice that he remembered us.

We had three blackbird eggs in a nest in our ivy but found the nest half pulled out, 1 egg gone, 1 broken and the other seemingly ok but on the floor. V sad. Blackbirds still visit the garden, think we need some cat deterrent. I've seen a few in the garden recently which isn't good with the chickens. Although in a fight, I'd back my girls any day!

Got some blackbirds with young ones.

Lots of young blackbirds here, but the starlings are taking straw from my freshly delivered manure so must be nest building.

My dad once did a load of hanging baskets with moss lining. He came home one day to find all the flowers on the floor. The birds had stripped most of the moss lining out. Must of been like a birds version of Jennga, took it in turns to see who would make it collapse onto the floor. He was quite miffed as he had spent ages faffing round trying to 'balance' the basket and it ended up as a big mess on the floor.

There's a small river that runs through our village. It leads on to the main 'high street' if you could call it that. The local ducks walk up from the river, cross the main road and wander round the houses before heading back.

Yesterday was a duck with at least 8-10 really young babies in tow. The last ones in the line were struggling to walk and keep up, they kept falling over. The traffic stopped to let them cross. All the locals are fine but I worry about the idiots who drive through quickly on their way to somewhere else.

There's also a duck 'couple' who seem to like walking on the pavements more than the river bank. They just sit in a big puddle on one of the pavements.

I've got a couple of babies in the garden, been there a good week or so. Problem is I now have a rescue cat who has taken an interest in them , i've tried keeping her away from them but as they are roaming about now it's difficult. She almost caught one of the babies this morning but when I shouted at her to leave it she did and it went off and hid somewhere.
First year i've ever had birds nesting in my garden (had previous cat for 20 yrs).

I've seen a well advanced Juvenile House Sparrow in the last couple of days . . . must have been an early sowing under lights
