Bird of prey in my garden

How lovely! And, how lucky you are! Though I bet the little birds around don't think that they are lucky at all! I've seen something swoop at the crows behind our house but it all happened so quickly I don't know what it was - it was big though! And the crows and gulls chased it off!

we have these enormous birds of prey on the cliffs above us and they sweep down onto the river but luckily they dont come into the garden...i am not certain exactly what they are but they might be kites or even red kites.

Simon what exactly is your cat scarer? If it works I need one. I planted yesterday some carrots seeds under a pvc tunnel only to come out this morning to find halfway up it disturbed earth and scattered seeds and a present left by a cat. There should be a law against this sort of trespassing.
