Our blackbird has finally gone to the land of nod. All quiet finally.
Have to say that the UV bouncing off the plants and trees is exceptional this evening- even though it's cloudy.
How wonderful!

I have 2 sorts of bird noises, depending on where I spend the night. In Cardiff, despite the nearby motorway, its the sound of blackbirds, thrushes, robins and wrens and the owls later. But down west, there's no traffic noise and the marsh birds calls are overlaid on the garden bird song. The call of the curlew is just magical.

I love the birdsong too, it just sounds so beautiful and at the moment we have a nightingale singing in the evening. Just heaven

Funny thing is- that after my first post- the heavens opened- and once it stopped the blackbird started singing again!!!...lovely!
