    I've got lots of wriggly white and red worms as well as what looks a bit like black eggs. Apologies for no pic as they are too wriggly for my camera phone.
    It's good news I guess, as my pond now has residents. I wonder what will arrive next? This is fascinating stuff. Wish it would stop raining so I could go and sit by it.
    I was telling the children in my class all about it today. They ask me every day now if I have any frogs! Lol

    the wriggly reds could be blood worm (midge larvae)

      Ooh I wondered if that's what they were. I need some midge predators now.
