  • Ribbet.

The frogs in our two ponds have been mating like billy-o and when me, VVG and Mr VVG popped to the gardens today - we have frogspawn.

    I just wanted to share.

I haven't got a polariser on the iphone before anyone says.

Yey!!!...I always love to see/hear about frogspawn...it means Spring is near enough as here!

Are you going to cover it over the next few nights?...I have a feeling there are going to be some nasty frosts in parts of the UK ( and here)

LOADS of frogspawn and busy frogs in two different places.
      Fantabulous community garden too
Great to see a mate as happy as a pig in the proverbial

I wasn't planning on it. They are both quite sheltered and they are still at it like crazy so hopefully there will be more to come. Much more!

Would the frost kill it? I heard snow mentioned for here tomorrow or Monday.

I'm starting my pond Monday but I reckon it's a bit of a lost cause for this year and it'll be next year before anything starts living in it. I am hopeful though.

When it looks good even in the rain and cold, think of how fab it is when the sun is out.

Just about to commence some grafting of quince and pear.
