Deffo Yarrow - a real PITA!

I think you're right about the Butterfly too.

Great Vid: I hope Froggy has indigestion after that!

That was the 2nd massive worm he'd eaten: he'd been loitering near me while I was digging up couch & horsetail. There are 100s of them (newts too) in our wildlife garden, I have to be really careful when digging

Its other name is Milfoil - meaning thousand leaves. It's wonderfully descriptive, except it's not really a thousand leaves, just a few leaves very deeply divided. I always sniff them. Occasionally you get one that smells of ham!

Thanks Flum, I thought it was known as milfoil. Then I thought again and wondered whether that only applied to flaky pastry. Same definition I suppose - thousand leaves.

The butterfly is lovely - although unfortunately it doesn't seem to be in Scotland. Think it is a female because of the broader black margins.
