I must go and check my compost bins now - they usually come to the top to warm up!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Yes, I'm lucky enough to have lots of them in the garden/greenhouse. The greenhouse borders are full of tunnels where they travel through the soil, I always leave touching the greenhouse borders until well into April to let them all wake.

We hit double figures today, but only just. 10 degrees. However, the sun has just come out and the crocuses and snowdrops have at last opened up. Here's looking forward to spring proper. Official first day of spring next week (21st March) I believe.

We had a small tortoiseshell butterfly on the path down to the allotments yesterday.
