We have a beautiful family of foxes on our allotment which we often sit and watch. They are often seen wandering the site.
Today ........... I got a fright........ Digging over the beds ............... oh whats that ............. its got feathers.............. dead buried bird.
Our foxes have been burying their dinner all over the site!!
I didn't enjoy the present but still love to watch these beautiful animals.
Anyone else have foxes on their allotments?

as a chicken keeper (at home) i'm not a foxes greatest fan but at the lottie there is nothing for them to harm. We've also got a pheasant & his ladies which we are a bit concerned about as I would imagine the dogs would have these too

Then I realised it was the remains of a side of salmon that a fox had buried for a future supper. It smelt so bad that I picked it up on my spade and took it down to the hole in the fence and left it there. Needless to say it was gone the next morning!
