ladybird house

I treated myself to a ladybird house and it has just arrived. It says to put it somewhere not too hot and out of the wind.

My garden is normally quite windy so not sure where to put it. And it's either ful sun or full shade!

Any suggestions?

Is it best to put it near the veg patch?

Maybe put it up a tree if your got any?

I'd put it near to a fence or shrub to give it some shelter & I think probably the shade would be better then full sun or they might fry. If you can put it near something they like such as nettles, yarrow, buddleia or anything covered with aphids (covers most plants in my garden!) they should be happy.
