Field mice in mi compost bins

Young mice in the compost bin, 4 times now. Bold as brass, just looks at you like "yes? Can I help?" wot you bring more food?" Lovely, makes my day.

Awww....How lovely!!!

I forgot to mention that when we found our snake grass eggs there was also a baby shrew in the same compost which we disturbed! ( couldn't see any others- but left them alone).

It is really lovely to find these things isn't it???..

Yes isn't nature wonderfull but I'm afraid your baby shrews may well be providing a meal for your snakes when they hatch.
