    Hello All,

    Would like to know if the tiny black wiggly things shown in the attached (not so good) photo could be Flatworm? The photo shows the little creatures clinging on for dear life in the flowing water of my small waterfall.

    I'm pretty new to all this pond life (my pond only some 4 weeks old) but I find all this kind of stuff very interesting.

    Hope you can help.

    Baby leeches?

      If the pond is only 4 weeks old,then they are likely to be something air borne,i.e. midge larvae or something similar.

        I would have said leeches too. Can you fish one out and take a more detailed picture?

          Could they be tadpoles ?
