Not pests, but they’ve started coming into the house again, so hopefully they’ll be getting more active in the garden hunting out aphids etc

We had some too the other day I put it down to it being warmer than it should be then we had a fall of snow so maybe they came in for a warm or a snack? I've seen a few little flying things around outside that should still be asleep & my mum has mentioned ladybirds in her house a few times in recent weeks!

Ouch - & what monster size too! We get red ones over at the plot that give a nasty nip if we disturb them when weeding etc. Nasty little blighters & I itch like mad after seeing them lol.

Only place they are a real problem is in the greenhouse as the farm aphids, which I am trying to remove, they did the same on the guzzgogs, but those bushes have now gone.

The little nuisances farm the blackfly on my broadies every year but I've found rary's garlic infused washing-up liquid/water spray advice worked really well for me. I've read they don't like disturbed ground but ours don't care - they'll move in to dug/undug ground on our plot.
