Are those cherry stones in there?
my guess is you have had several fox cubs on your plot.
It does look the right size for large hedgehog but I have a wild cherry tree in my garden and never seen cherry stones in hedgehog scat....'my ' scat is longer and thinner with a pointy end and you sometimes can see shiny insect casings in it."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Given the cherry stones, that's a distinct possibility.
For it to be a hedgehog or a fox the cherries would have had to have dropped to the ground, but I can't see that happening to anything other than rotten cherries, which foxes or hedgehogs probably wouldn't touch.

I thought bird poo always had the white blobby stuff in it ( do ya like my scientific terminology?!
) ...which I thought was their urine aspect of the poo?

The white is indeed the "urine", but not all birds have it. I believe it depends on diet. When birds are eating a lot of fruit, especially dark fruit, they tend not to have it, and birds of prey tend not to have it, either.Originally posted by Nicos View PostI thought bird poo always had the white blobby stuff in it ( do ya like my scientific terminology?!
