This morning whilst walking with him in the corner i noticed about 50 swallows heading south i thought good god is it that time of the year already so i said cheerio to them and to come back next year jacob marley

Hope they have a safe journey and better winter weather than the summer they had here!

'fraid it is that time of year Jacob. The swifts have long gone. The geese are heading south honking as they go and the starlings are gathering in big gangs.
But we can look forward to them coming back next year and hope we can give them a better welcome.
