Was just locking up at midnight last night and suddenly heard a massive squabble outside up in one of the trees lasting 2 or 3 minutes.
Culprits????.........a Tawney owl and a magpie!!!!!!
How strange to hear a magpie at that time of night.....I wonder if they were fighting over a mouse? ( I'd have thought the magpie would have been tucked up under his wing at that hour!)
