  • Moth Count

If you're quick you can take part in a garden moth count which finishes on 06.07.08. You can look for moths in your garden during the day or by shining a light, hanging out food, tying up a sheet etc. at night or if your house is like mine at the moment by catching all the ones which keep coming into the kitchen & releasing them outdoors. They are looking for 20 types in particular & have photos which you tick when you have seen that particular one. Could be fun for kids to do. Here's a link to the site.

I shall give it a go! printed of the id chart....
Thanks SueA for letting us know.
I have seen many that are on the chart, though I bet I see none of them on the night I look for them.
Same thing happened for the bird count.
