  • Green Roof

    Hi,
I really want to put a green roof on my shed (when we get ir). Does anyone have a green roof, or any tips? I understand I need drainage and a frame to contain the growing medium, but what else do i need to consider? Also, are someplants better than others for a green roof? I really fancy wildflowers.

    Thanks,
    Cath

    1. The weight.
    2. The damp.

On a shed, you'd be better utilising the roof for catching rainwater. You can't do this if you have a green roof. here's a nice factsheet: http://www.thegreenroofcentre.co.uk/...ct%20Sheet.pdf
