So many insects

I put out wasp traps this time of year when fruit is ripening and in with the wasps were hundreds if not thousands of flies and moths in just a week. There was standing room only. I send the results to the big wasp survey. Not sure if they really wanted all the insects but they asked for them and got them.

in my area, butterflies have been huge amounts:

Painted Ladies, red admirals, speckled woods and commas
