        • I havnt had any ready yet but I've a courgette ready (large courgette) , it's pale green which I've read is due to not being pollinated? Does it have any difference on the flavour ? Not seen a pale one before

          • It might be pale green because of the variety. Some are naturally pale - others really dark. If they're not pollinated they're more yellowy.

            • I don't know variety , mum did these ones.

                • ^^^ What happened to the other .5 of the courgette?

For me, 4 cucumbers and just 1 courgette. Getting worried they're slowing down.

                  Courgettes - 134 + 1 = 135

                  Yellow Crookneck squash - 8

                  Beth Alpha Cucumbers = 53 + 4 = 57

The fruit is short and fat. It isn't elongated like the others on the plant. I thought it might be to do with how dry it's been. Or just the general weirdness of nature.

                    • There's nothing wrong with being short and fat. We're still chooks, I mean people, I mean Courgettes.
(No, I'm not at all sensitive about my size).

                      You have 2 courgettes

Think my courgettes will have a lull for a few days - lots of babies but no big ones coming. Have plenty to keep me going!
