650 grams will go nicely with our chicken casserole tonight.

The pot was started in February in the greenhouse, using old compost revitalised with some BFB and two tubers saved from last year's allotment crop.

I replanted the pot after this picking and gave it a good soak, hopefully the little ones left behind will grow over the next couple of weeks.

Purple podded sugar peas Sugar Magnolia (2), really only mangetout size. I wanted to see what these taste like. They are nicer than the Bijou mangetout that I grew a few years ago, but not as nice as the Hurst Greenshaft peas I ate alongside them.

2 courgette de nice a fruit rond (seeds from Lidl). I've never grown them before and picked them when roughly the size of a tennis ball. Now I'm reading I should've picked them when the size of a golf ball. Will maybe try one of them tonight, hopefylly they will taste nice.

Picked my fist Bonica F1 aubergine from Lidl. I decided to pick it whilst fairly small to help encourage more to form. Then sliced it and made it in to aubergine 'pizza'
