October
Pictures taken at around 9am to avoid looking straight into the sun.

The Ferline tomatoes are still in full flow, but the Balconi below are nearly finished.

Apples ready for harvest (I picked them later today). French beans and Balconi tomatoes looking cold. Florence fennel in the green pot in the middle. Some of the bedding plants have died, so it looks a bit messy.

The Shirley tomatoes in the growhouse are just about hanging on, as are the runner beans in there (the ones on the arch have finished and been cut down). The 2 pots of Garden Pearl tomatoes have finished. Plenty of carrots and some brokali under the net.

Strawberries and blueberries looking rather autumnal.

The cucumber doesn't like the cold and has died, and the tomatoes are not far behind. Brassicas (calabrese, kale and spring cabbage) under nets are having problems with aphids.

the leaves have been ruined by caterpillars but I shouldve covered them. In the fourth photo my leeks are lost under the dahlias, they might grow alright at an angle. The last photo has some courgettes that I should pick,I cut the plants back a couple of weeks ago, theyve got powdery mildew, milk helped & the new growths been good, they look a little bit floppy from the frost,Ill cut them down soon, see how long they can go on for
the second photo has some rooster potatoes in the black container & a few carrots amongst self seeded nemesia in the other one. The fourth photo shows my meteor peas that have popped up (I thought Id sowed them too late in November,I thought theyd probably rotted but what an amazing pea!) Its nice seeing some new shoots out there,I still havent planted my garlic or onions. The last photo shows my swede in the bed with strawberries growing into the lawn,I should move that soon
