2018 Calendar

[Small pumpkin]

I won't be taking any photos of my veggie garden for a couple of months. Until it's looking considerably better than it does now. I know it not a tidy plot competition. But it doesn't inspire me as it is and I definitely don't want to remind myself of it

Love seeing everyone's gardens / plots grow and flourish over the year ( and steel ideas )

Okay here is my back garden. Despite having said for 5 years I will do the lawn I still haven't, maybe I can shame myself into doing it with photos (yes the scruffy stoney bit is meant to be lawn )

Here's my plot - the polytunnel is basically in the corner, so everything to the right of and in front of it in this pic is mine.

A couple of pictures to close January. The undue ground in the front of the pics is where the next beds will go.

That's an amazing difference Greenleaves. It will be a lot sunnier without that big tree!

It looks perfect GL all ready for a great new season! Is next doors greenhouse trying to come onto your side,it looks like it’s being held up by the fence,if you take the fence down,free greenhouse rolls in?

It's only a little 4 x 4 policarb one JJ, they also had one of those cheap 6mtr tunnels, that's about 100mtrs away all twisted and bent.

That was one of 4 old plum trees Penellype....

All turned to wood ash and spread on the plots.

I only have 1567 pictures of my two, some are just reminders, others for inspiration and the rest because I can

I haven't counted my pics, but I do know that whenever I want to refresh my memory and see what I did in a specific place in detail I find that I never seem to have taken the appropriate picture!

February:



Little change from January, although the spirea bush has been pruned and a few of the leeks have been eaten.



Fennel has been eaten and bucket 34 needs taking into the garage to dry out a bit for potatoes.



No change here. The brokali in the buckets near the garage wall is slowly producing spears.



Cabbages have been harvested from the black trough. PSB against the fence is starting to produce shoots.



Not a lot to see, but beetroot under cloches is slowly being eaten.

New chicken run on the right and paving slab hopscotch path laid to it.
