Not so much a harvest as a tidying up of my chard with the added benefit of being something for my tea:

But it's made my chard plants look much better:

Just a couple of portions of PSB. Rhubarb is leading up nicely, but I won’t pick any until next year when it’s had chance to settle in )

I had just started "mowing" (ahem, more like scalping...) my lawn, when I realised it was riddled with tender young dandelion leaves. So I have picked a huge handful. I'm not a huge fan of lots of bitter leaves in salad (same as spicy ones, a few are fine but too many can be a bit overpowering) but I do like cooking with them. I'm thinking they will go nicely with my chard and pea-shoots wilted into some pasta with some peas and spring onions (from the supermarket).

Tomorrow i'll be harvesting my PSB. I'll stick it in a little tub and freeze it.

                            plenty of salad

Everything picking up in the garden now thanks to the glorious sunshine we've had recently!
3 days worth of tender, mixed salad leaves: beetroot greens from my overwintered batch which have done very well, lots of rocket and beautifully fragrant herbs: parsley, mint, thyme. Better than anything you can buy in the shop, producing delicious, fragrant and crispy salads!

Got a full freezer bag full of PSB just now, with more to come once the florets get a bit bigger.
