Potato Growth!

I have just noticed a potato growing in my vegetable plot. The growth must be from a small potato that I must have missed when harvesting. The stem is about 5� t0 6� tall at the moment with nice sized leaves. Is this plant worth growing on or will it not develop any potato tubers if left to grow? I am not sure what variety it is but it either a first or second early.

I get "bonus" ones every year, sometimes an excellent crop, but often nothing much, if it's not in the way leave it and hope would be my philosophy.

They pop up all over the place here too. I leave them until I need the space. Amazingly, they don't seem to get blighted - nor the random tomatoes that appear.
However, the ones I want to thrive.........
