Black Russian Tomato question.

What sort of Tomato are they? Determinate?

Thats what it says they are but i find they grow more like a semi-determinate. Anyone else think this?

Semi determinate.........some are determinate, some aren't! I always leave the top sideshoot just in case!

I grow them as a cordon but they a very strange ancient variety, side shoots come off flower trusses etc, they really are all over the place at times.

The last two replies have answered my question. They certainly don't grow like any of my other cordons put it that way.

I've always grown them as Indeterminate. However, as I tend to allow multiple shoots to grow rather than a single cordon I wouldn't necessarily have a problem if it grew a bit strangely. When I've grown it (which hasn't been for a couple of years) its usually grown to 5+ft tall so I wouldn't classify that as Semi-Determinate.
