Thursday I planted my tomato plant that had been delivered that day. It's now in a rather fancy pot that was, when I took it out of the box, was one of those flat-packed jobs, (the pot, not the plant ) . The pot's instructions resembled something off The Krypton Factor, & I am sure that the glass of wine that I was having, assisted with progress of the assembly .

Today, I am going to start planting out seeds in one of the raised beds. So carrots, turnips, spring onions are going in, along with marigold & poached egg plants, acting as the companion plants. In the other raised bed, I am just debating if I can plant both runner & climbing beans in the same raised bed

Weed plot.
Plant out as many seedlings as possible, sweetcorn, beans, stock, lupins, outdoor toms, artichokes, beetroot, rosemary, aubergines. Pot up chillies and sweet peppers.
Stake gh tomatoes.
Sow cucmbers, tall peas, more salad leaves.

Well, today, I had intended to plant the seeds that I wanted use in the raised beds. But it looks like the weather has scuppered that idea! I'm just wondering if it would be too late to plant carrot, turnip & spring onion seeds, or should I wait until mid June? I might have to do some 'fantasy veg plant online shopping', if that's the case. I might get away with planting the bean seeds later on this afternoon though
