My packet only gives rates per square metre, which is no help at all for pots. I end up using a small handful per half a bucket of compost, but I bet that's not the optimum. Anyone got anything more scientific?

      Shropshire Seaweed Fertilizer arrived

It says to use every 10-14 days but I will mix it in a big watering can and then pour it into a smaller watering can so I can pour it to my veg and herbs.

I am thinking of pouring it once a month for veg and once every 2 months for my annual herbs and once or twice in the growing season for my med herbs

      Does this sound ok ?

What does it say on the product? Every 10-14 days!
So that's what you should do!
