In a quandry

I have 5 superb Butternut squashes which could do to be left a bit longer on the plant. The forecast for tonight suggests that we might get a frost 4C or below. So do I cut them and bring them in or wrap them in Fleece and hope for the best? The temperatures are rising again until next Saturday.

I've put some newspapers over mine to keep them warm will have to take it off sharpish in the morning mind, cos the paper gets soggy overnight.

Wrap thrm up in fleece and they should be ok.

Got down to 2.8 last night and temperatures up and down for the next week. Looks as if I will have to be out with the fleece quite often. Squashes look fine this morning.
