Peppers and chillie questions from a novice!

Yes is the simple answer...You still have time to get chillies from the plants this season..Are you tickling the flowers??

Tickling the flowers? Erm no! Am I supposed to? Ive just stuck them in a pot and let them get on with it! What do I tickle them with?

A finger ! Paintbrush, cotton wool bud etc...just move the pollen around from one flower to the next. Ther need to be undercover now and indoors by the end of September if you want to overwinter - especially if we start to get chilly nights.
