Beans and wigwams

Is it ok to have different varieties of 'French beans' growing in the same pyramid ? Or will it go sadly wrong?

It'll be fine - I do it all the time
Don't mix climbing and dwarf though or you'll never find the little 'uns.

I've got Runners & French Beans growing up the same cane nevermind pyramid........................come to think of it, I've also got French Beans & Mangetout growing up the same canes.............am I bovvered...............

No I have those separate, well I will, when they germinate! I forgot to sow them until a couple of days ago.

All will be well Dotty My 'munty frame' has 21 poles, up each pole I have one of each;
Runner bean
Round climbing French bean
Flat climbing French bean (green)
Flat climbing French bean (yellow)
The only problem I've had over the years is late seson botrytis due to the poles being rather too close together.

They will be fine unless you are planning on saving seed, when you will get a mixture of all sorts from them. But the beans will be fine to eat.
