    It'll become a tangled mess. The plant like all plants want to produce seed so the sooner it fruits the better but from a growers point of view, you will end up with lots more smaller fruits & as I say a tangle of branches. Best to remove the armpits & either throw them or grow them as new plants. Obviously this only applies to indeterminate varieties.

      Strait up it is then

      Then when they have set a decent amount of fruit or if they get too tall pinch out the growing tips? Think i read something like that....
      Shoot for the stars, reach the tree tops

        Some folk nip out the tops after x amount of trusses, others will leave the top alone to grow through the roof.
