Unknown problem with my Redskin pepper plants ? Poss insects ??

I've spotted on the underside of the leaves on my Redskin pepper plants some strange markings ? I'm not sure how better to describe it ?? The plants are under 6500 k grow lamps at present . I grew them from seed . If any one can take a look at the photos and advise that would be great

I think it may be plant oedema, where the roots take up more water than the leaves can cope with. Caused by excessive humidity. Does that sound possible?

I thought it looked more like some sort of pest ??

It's difficult to tell with a photo of just one leaf. Can we have some photos of the whole plant?

This is correct it is Edema, or oedema, is a type of abnormal water retention in plants, often influenced by the plant�s environment.

Thanks, although I'm unsure what I've been doing wrong? I wouldn't say there over watered far from it. They are under 6500 Kelvin grow lights , I'm wondering if it's poor air circulation ??

That plant looks fine to my eyes AJ, maybe a tweek in the watering if it is the case but it looks good to me.

Poor air circulation is probably the cause I had it on my Tinkerbell peppers it has left some scaring but the plant seems fine now I have removed it from under the lights.

Maybe a f�n of some kind to keep air flowing around the plants??

I don't grow under lights and have never seen that problem. Although if that's a flower I can see I would nip it out - the plant isn't big enough to support any fruit yet.

Thougt the same thing Scarlet , think its a piece of vermiulite or something though.
