Epicure is one of the potatoes grown as Ayrshire New Potatoes / Ayrshire Earlies - an immature potatoe grown in Ayrshire, Scotland.

It is small in size, 15 – 70mm diameter, due to the young age. The potato is round or oval in shape with a soft skin and distinctive strong earthy nutty flavour and aroma. It has a creamy texture - add lots of butter and eat on its own for lunch.

if left to grow, can catch blight.

        Thanks.
I didn't really have much success with the Epicure as I recall but then again I think I mislabelled 😳 I also seem to grow too many First early potatoes! This year though I will try again

Thanks, Mark. Am now thinking of going with Premiere. However, I've still got a few days to change my mind!
