  • It was very cold last night Deano

What have you got glowering Vix? Got any photos? The plants need to be big enough to support a load of chillies...

    • Will take some pics tomorrow... I need to find something to measure against for perspective!

The lemon drops and purple tiger are prob about 40cm high now. I've taken the flowers off the mini bell peppers because they're not as tall and presumably the peppers will be bigger!

Has any one grown these before ,and should they look like this ,they are a lot taller then my other plants and was sown later.

        • Vix at 40cm, I think I'd let it do its thing!

Ms t, ive never grown them. Ive just at a look on the Internet. They say they can grow upto 3ft tall and two foot wide. Have you pinched ot the tops? Hopefully it will start bushing out.they look ok to me though

haven't grown those particular ones before, but I find some chiili plants just do that as in take off on an upward trajectory and end up tall and thin..not sure why and often within the same type, some do and some don't
              No help I know

I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                Ms-T they look splendid specimens!

I have four Ancho that are getting towards a decent size - pinched out last week. The biggest is 11" tall. Tried to take a photo with a rule against the plant, but I was a bit rubbish trying to take the photo with one hand whilst trying to hold the ruler with the other ....
No sign of any flowers, yet!

                  • What you need to do is wedge the ruler in the compost I'm going to take some photos of my chillies in a bit to show progress (not much )

                        • My chili plant has started producing overnight

Think this needs a bigger pot, fed or just staked?
