    I always give old seeds a try. If they germinate , then, in my opinion, they should be as strong as newly sown seeds. I think its all a matter of how they are cared for after that. Just my opinion.

      I sowed tomato seed last week from 2010 and they all appear to have germinated. As for the condition of the plant and the produce, we'll have to see.

        I've done something similar with all my old veg seeds but I've chucked them in the chicken run that is "resting" at the moment. Hopefully, something will grow and the chooks can eat it.
