Pot growable cabbages?

Just bought some "for the finest tasting coleslaw" Attraction Cabbage seeds, but having read the packet and thinternet ( with my glasses on ) they are big enough to cover half my garden nevermind a big pot soooooooo...............

Anyone know of a small set cabbage that is possible to grow in pots and doesnt take a decade to mature ?

Golden acre seem to be a nice small cabbage

Pot growing of cabbage does lend itself to spring cabbage cultivation under cover in the winter. I would imagine summer cabbage would be a problem grown even in 7" pots because they would need a lot of watering during the sunny months?

What about some of the fast growing Chinese Cabbage like Michilli or Yuki? They are small and are ready in 6-8 weeks.

I know with some brassicas you can plant a lot closer together. E.g broccoli (calabrese) you just end up with smaller heads, i tend to do this with a lot, including my cabbages as i normally only feeding to 2 of us and do not want 3 kilos on cabbage in one sitting,

I find Hispi works well in pots and forms quite respectable small hearts. Pixie is a small variety that I am trying this year.
