Black Tuscan - Side Shoots

I've side shoots growing out of the Black Tuscan Kale, and am wondering what to do with them?

I'd just leave them, though I don't think they will grow much.

Let them grow, hopefully you'll have enough shoots to pick for a boiling, or leave them until a little bigger with more leaf. If you leave them until next spring they'll most probably produce flower spikes that are even tastier.
