        Hi Bill

        Thank you for your post.

I am sorry to learn your Gardener's Delight have not grown as expected. Earlier this year we discovered that some of our packets had been incorrectly filled with Tigerella seeds. We immediately let all of our seed outlets know to advise our customers and withdrew this lot from sale, sadly some packets had slipped through despite our best efforts.

If you would like to contact our Customer Care team on ccare@thompson-morgan.com with your address details, we will be happy to ensure a further packet is sent with our compliments.

        Kind regards

        Natalie.

            I understand you have Tigerella
With G delight being our best seller
I can see you're not a happy boy
as your tomato hopes we did destroy
And if this ode to you does fail,
            please provide your address details
I'll make sure your packet is replaced

                Thanks Natalie from T & M
Its good to "meet" someone from them!
Kind of you to take the time
To answer Bill in friendly rhyme.
I hope that, next year, barring blight,
Bill has his fill of G. Delight

                    My dearest T&M
You might have guessed it's me again,
My tomato plans are in a state
But your mails I do appreciate.

And who knows it might turn out
That Tigerella I can rave about,
Though I'm missing all those G delight
and wished that you had got it right.

I mailed your service gals the other day
and promised seeds are on their way,
But be warned you'll have an angry fella
If they too turn out as Tigerella.

                    Luv Bill

Your words of warning have been received,
about the issue with our seeds.
From what we know all G Delight,
that was incorrect, is out of sight

We hope next year your crop will show,
that G Delight is on the go.
As these seeds are true to name,
and your delight will be the same

I hope we haven't let you down,
and turned this unhappy boy around.
But if you need a helpful friend,
                        I'm always here at T&M.

Although Black Prince is what I bought
I too got a red stripey sort.
                          Tigerella? maybe so.
Red Zebra? I don't really know.
But in this case I can proclaim
That T&M are not to blame.
I don't think they sell plants at all
                          From a Slovak market stall.

The Ildi doesn't look quite like Ildi either, although it does have small yellow toms.

I can see you are the same as Bill,
where the packs you had were wrongly filled.
It can make a gardener weep with fear
To wait and see what crops appear.

It's a shame you cannot send them back
Due to the seeds being Slovak.
Maybe you could cause a racket?
To make the 'Czechs' check all their packets.

The hazards of buying plants in a sale
                                Illustrated by this sorry tale
What I thought was a yellow pepper
Seems to be more of a hot stepper
I haven't dared to taste the chilli
But really, this is getting silly!

(Plant bought from a discount bench in a garden centre, labelled yellow bell pepper, but clearly a long and very pointy chilli).
