  • Cucumbers have reached the top

Hi guys can anyone tell me what I do when the cucumbers reac the top of the netting support. Can I pinch out the tops or just try and weave it over the netting. They are standing on the floor of the green house and climbing up to the roof.

Pinch out the tops and they will send out side shoots which you can then pinch out to keep them under control.

Just how many cucumbers do you need?

I do the same as Bren, I have no room for sideways movement below ceiling height so get another 8ft of cumber plant this way.

Thanks for that. I have got 2cucamelons, 4cucumbers and 2 cornichons all growing next to each other in morrisons flower buckets. Can I just jumble them all up along the top?
