Thanks to all your help, I got some of the £1 bags from Wilkos (5 pots in each) this morning, they had 6 different varieties in the £1 bags, although I only bought 5 types, as one type were in bad condition, but all the others 'looked' great. I got Swift, Int. kidney, Nicola, Home Guard, and Casablanca.

    Thankyooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuu :-)

From your list I can see you've picked mainly first earlies and early varieties, all these tend to have a waxy skin which is great for salad spuds and boiled new pots but, you might want to consider some maincrop varieties which are good storers for later season mashing spuds. Option include Red Duke of York and Maris Piper, Arran Victory if you can get it.

I also like to grow a few from the sarpo family which are blight resistant, belt and braces when it comes to spuds!!!! One for every occasion.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.
